Avani Chhaya has a background in education, nonprofit work, community outreach, and program management. Prior to joining The Learning Agency, Avani worked as a senior outreach program coordinator at the Children’s Research Center at The University of Texas at Austin. She started her career as a 5th grade English Language Arts teacher in New Orleans.

Avani graduated with an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy from The University of Texas at Austin, and has a B.A. in English and Secondary Education from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
