Cas has a background in user research, data analysis, digital arts, and dance education. They have held numerous roles across academia and the nonprofit sector, most recently focusing on program management and evaluation for a nonprofit working to increase access to high-quality dance education for low-income youth in Boston.

Cas holds a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Human Factors Engineering, both from Tufts University, as well as an MFA in Dance Choreography & Performance from SUNY Brockport.
