Lizzie has a range of experiences in education and research. In prior roles, she worked as a Spanish instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and in several nonprofit and governmental education programs with a focus on marginalized communities in the United States and in Latin America. Lizzie brings her passion for educational access and equity to The Learning Agency.

Lizzie has her PhD in Latin American literature from UNC-Chapel Hill and her research on representations of disability in the Spanish speaking world can be found in a variety of academic journals. She also completed her undergraduate degrees at UNC with majors in Spanish and Global Studies.
