TASHA HENSLEY

POLICY DIRECTOR

Tasha Hensley brings experience in teaching, K-12 education policy and advocacy, and project management to her work at The Learning Agency.

Prior to joining The Learning Agency, Tasha served as the Senior Director of Policy & Advocacy at Leadership for Educational Equity. She has shaped education policy as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) and through government relations roles at Citizen Schools and Teach For America. Tasha’s first professional experience was teaching high school French in Baltimore and Boston. She studied History and French at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her MPP from Georgetown University.
